When Matt La Rochelle entered in a shop to buy a beamer some two years ago, he found that there were none in store. So he bought a DJ set instead! Since then, he has committed more and more of his time to mixing different songs.

Matt mixes together as many genres as possible. His favourite mixes are EDM, Electro Swing, 80-90s music, Indie Pop Rock, Future House, Funky. His mixes are clean (almost zero effects!). Matt La Rochelle's main inspiration and model is the duo Knife Party (from which the name of his first mix derives). ​
